A. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
A Research Coordinator is responsible for organizing, managing, and overseeing research projects. Their job scope typically includes:
- Project Management:
- Planning and coordinating research activities.
- Developing project timelines and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Managing project budgets and resources.
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Designing and implementing data collection procedures.
- Collecting, processing, and analysing research data.
- Ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records of regulatory documents.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Communicating with research team members, stakeholders, and funders.
- Preparing and presenting research findings.
- Writing and editing research reports, publications, and grant proposals.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings and events.
- Handling correspondence and communication related to research projects.
- Managing project documentation and files.
- Resource Management:
- Managing research materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Coordinating with vendors and suppliers.
B. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor Degree in relevant field
- Interested in current issues (focus on women’s rights)
- Proficient in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Passionate to work with an NGO
