Prof. Dato’ Dr. Rashidah Shuib
She is a recipient of the Fullbright-Hays scholarship and holds a Ph.D. from Michigan State University, USA. She was the Director of the Women’s Development Research Centre (KANITA) (2005-2012). She is still active in teaching and conducting research on issues related to gender, health, and development.
She holds a Masters in Applied Human Rights from the University of York, United Kingdom. She is a Vice President of Free Tree Society, Kuala Lumpur, an environmental organisation that spreads the environmental stewardship message by giving away trees for free to green our Earth.
Rafidah is a freelance script and screenplay writer and has been active in the fight for social change ever since she started out as one of the hosts of the young women’s programme 3R in 2000. She holds an MA in Scriptwriting from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
Suri Kempe holds an MA in Southeast Asian Studies, from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, the USA and is currently the Programme Manager at Musawah, a global movement for equality and justice in the Muslim family that works to advance human rights for women living in Muslim contexts.
Suryani Senja Alias
She holds a Masters in International Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science, London. She is a Managing Director for Cult Sdn Bhd. She was a Senior Vice President, (Research and Investment Strategy, and Investment Divisions) for Khazanah Nasional from 2006-2011.
